About Prado's Art Studios

Art always comes first.

Prado's Art Studios was born from Joe Prado's passion for comics and the process of creating them. Nearly 30 years after beginning his career in Brazil, Joe built the studio to represent and guide artists, inkers, colorists and writers across international markets.

Being an artist himself gives Joe a privileged view of what creators need to build solid careers—and what publishers need to bring exceptional art to the page.

Joe Prado, founder of Prado's Art Studios

Comics. Artists. Representation.

Joe Prado began his professional career in the early 1990s and entered the US comics market in 2004. His credits include Action Comics, Superman, Green Lantern, Aquaman, Justice League, Batman, Detective Comics, Wonder Woman and Geiger.

After an acclaimed 11-year partnership with Ivan Reis and two Inkwell Awards, Joe combined his experience as an artist and agent to create Prado's Art Studios—representing creators in the American and European markets.
